    How to import templates

    You can import templates into the Shared Email Templates add-in for Microsoft Outlook in .xml and .ptd formats.

    If a template that is being imported has the same name as a template that is already present in the destination folder, both templates will be kept.

    1. On the Shared Email Templates pane in Outlook, right-click a team or the My templates folder, and then select Import.

    2. Select an .xml or .ptd file that you want to import, and then click Open.
