How to copy a custom input field in an Outlook email template

    In this article

If you have a custom input field in your template, you can easily duplicate it.

    1. Start editing your template.

    2. On the template editor toolbar, select the The Insert macro button Insert macro button.

    3. Select What to enter (WTE).

    4. On the General tab, under Copy from another WTE, select the custom input field you created with the WhatToEnter macro and want to reuse. Then select OK.

      Copy from another WTE.

You can also right-click a WhatToEnter macro placeholder in the template that you’re creating or editing, select Copy on the menu that will appear, and then paste the macro.

    Select Copy.
