How to copy a custom input field in an Outlook email template

If you have a custom input field in your email template for Outlook, you can easily duplicate this field.

    1. Start editing your template.

    2. On the template editor toolbar, select the The Insert macro button Insert macro button.

    3. Select What to enter (WTE).

    4. On the General tab, under Copy from another WTE, select the custom input field you want to reuse.

    5. The fields in the What to enter dialog will be filled automatically. Select OK.

You can also right-click a WhatToEnter macro placeholder in the template that you’re creating or editing, select Copy on the menu that will appear, and then paste the macro.
