Centralized deployment through the Microsoft 365 admin center

If you’re an IT administrator, you can roll out Shared Email Templates 2 across your organization through the Microsoft 365 admin center, either from Microsoft AppSource or by uploading a manifest file.
Deploy Shared Email Templates 2 via Microsoft AppSource #
To deploy the add-in organization-wide from Microsoft AppSource, follow these steps:
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Go to Settings > Integrated apps.
- Select Get apps.
- In the AppSource window, search for Shared Email Templates 2.
- Select Get it now.
- In the Confirm to continue dialog, select Get it now again.
- Under Assign users, select Entire organization, and then select Next.
- To review the permissions requested by the add-in, select Accept permissions.
- Select your Microsoft work or school account.
- In the Permissions requested dialog, review the permissions on behalf of your organization and select Accept.
- Select Next.
- Select Finish deployment.
- Select Done.
Deploy Shared Email Templates 2 via a manifest file #
To deploy the add-in across your organization by using a manifest file, follow the steps below.
- Contact us at support@ablebits.com to request a manifest file.
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Go to Settings > Integrated apps.
- Select Upload custom apps.
- Under App type, select Office Add-in.
- Under Choose how to upload app, select Upload manifest file (.xml) from device.
- Select Choose File.
- Browse for the manifest file, select it, and then select Open.
- Select Next.
- Under Assign users, select Entire organization, and then select Next.
- Select Accept permissions.
- Select your Microsoft work or school account.
- In the Permissions requested dialog, review the permissions on behalf of your organization, and then select Accept.
- Select Next.
- Select Finish deployment.
- Select Done.
