    How to force the add-in update in Outlook

    You can force the Shared Email Templates add-in to update in one of the following ways:

    • In the classic Outlook for Windows, click anywhere in the Shared Email Templates pane, and then press Ctrl+F5.
    • In Outlook for Mac, go to the More (…) menu in the lower-right corner of the Shared Email Templates pane, select About, then right-click the pane and select Reload.
    • In Outlook Online (Outlook on the web, Outlook in your browser), go to the More (…) menu in the lower-right corner of the Shared Email Templates pane, select About, right-click the pane, and then select:
      • Refresh frame in Microsoft Edge.
      • Reload frame in Google Chrome.
      • Reload Page in Apple Safari.

    If this doesn’t help, try the steps below.

    1. Close Outlook desktop on all your devices.
    2. In Outlook Online (Outlook on the web, Outlook in your browser), uninstall the Shared Email Templates add-in.
    3. Install the add-in again.
